Partner and Leader, Trust Leadership Institute, PwC US

Kathy has been the Managing Partner of the New Orleans office of PwC since 2002 and has over 27 years of experience in providing assurance and advisory services to PwC clients.  She primarily serves SEC multi-national registrants in the chemicals, engineering and construction, energy services, clean technology, metals, and services industries. Kathy has held the role of engagement audit partner within PwC for the last 16 years and has extensive experience in SEC reporting issues, public offerings, acquisition accounting and consulting with clients on various complex accounting issues.   

Kathy has primarily served clients with significant international operations and, as a result, has travelled extensively throughout her career in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America.

Internal Roles at PwC

In addition to Kathy’s client service roles, Kathy has also held various internal roles at PwC.  In addition to her role as the Managing Partner of the New Orleans office, Kathy held the role of US Assurance Strategy Leader from 2006 to 2008.  In this role, she was a member of the US Assurance Leadership Team and was responsible for development of strategy for the Assurance Practice and the Assurance diversity initiatives.  Following that role, Kathy established and led the PwC Sustainable Business Solutions (SBS) practice from 2008 to 2015.  The SBS practice is a National team of subject matter experts that advise companies, cities and governments in developing strategies and mitigating risk associated with sustainability trends.    In these roles, Kathy established extensive relationships with the National Office of PwC as well as her Global counterparts across the PwC network.

Professional and Community Activities

Kathy is a member of the Board of Trustees of Boys Town and the Secretary and Treasurer for the Louisiana Delegation of the International Women's Forum.  She is also the Firms Recruiting Partner at Tulane University. She has served on the Board of Junior Achievement - New Orleans - and was a member of the Women's Leadership Initiative of the New Orleans United Way.  She has also served on the Tulane University Advisory Council and was a Board member of CADA (Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse).    Kathy was honoured by New Orleans City Business in 2009 as one of the top 50 women business leaders.
