Don Wen

Don Wen is the U.S. Operations Leader for PwC’s Private Company Services practice, managing a nationally integrated Assurance and Tax team.  Don works closely with both closely held businesses and PE-backed companies to address their growth issues and expansion opportunities.

Don has assisted his clients in buy and sell-side due diligence, M&A, debt and private placement and IPOs.  His clients include some of the largest private companies in Northern California, including several cited on the Forbes List of Largest Private Companies.  Don has extensive experience serving companies in the retail & consumer, wholesale & distribution, agribusiness, technology and manufacturing industries with multi-state and international operations.

Don graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Managerial Economics and from CSU Sacramento with a M.S. in Accountancy. He is a CPA in the state of California and a member of the California Society of CPA and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Don has served on committees and boards for various organizations like the Commonwealth Club of California, UC Davis School of Business and Chemical Dependency Center for Women.
