President Prabowo Subianto has inaugurated 77 indicative national strategic projects (PSNs), consisting of 29 new projects and 48 ongoing or carry-over projects.
The list of PSNs is governed by Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 12/2025, which pertains to National Strategic Projects in line with the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) for the 2025-2029 period.
The 29 new PSNs primarily focus on downstream projects, water self-sufficiency, and food self-sufficiency. Additionally, the giant sea wall project, which extends from Banten, Jakarta, and West Java to East Java, is officially included in the PSN list.
"The list of PSNs is indicative and may be modified or expanded based on the evaluation of previously established PSNs and carry-over projects. This is contingent upon the assessment of new projects that meet the criteria according to applicable regulations," the regulation states.
In addition to these projects, three transport sector projects are included in the indicative PSN list. Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi stated that he is prepared to coordinate with other ministries and agencies regarding the three PSNs in the transport sector.
"If there are assignments, we must diligently address related matters and coordinate with other ministries and agencies," he said on Saturday (1/3).
The three PSNs of the Ministry of Transportation are the integrated Ambon Port development, which is a new project, Patimban Port in West Java, and the East-West Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project.
According to him, the development of Ambon Port will be undertaken in collaboration with the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. The MRT project will be executed in partnership with the Jakarta, Banten, and West Java provincial governments, as well as PT MRT Jakarta.
Regarding the development of Ambon Port, which is a new project, Dudy ensured that it would be further reviewed, including its urgency to be included in the PSN list.
"If it is included in the PSN, it means this project is strategic. The government certainly has considerations," he said.
