International Events
Your journey into Edge will officially start and end with an international event. You will travel to a European destination where you will have the chance to meet all Edge participants across EMEA, receive in-depth training and participate in exciting activities and events. COVID-19: Edge International Events - go virtual!
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought fast-moving and unexpected changes to the international and global networking elements of the Edge programme. We have responded with a virtual programme and whilst we miss travelling to the amazing locations and enjoying the face-to-face team working and networking aspects we have nonetheless created something special. The learner experience and sense of community has prevailed and feedback suggests we have continued to deliver a world class development experience.
Our revised approach includes a virtual International Deals Foundation Programme. Whilst the Learning & Development components have been adapted for a virtual classroom, we still have the same goal, to create a unique opportunity for new joiners and inspire collaboration across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) territories. We have used different technology solutions to engage and motivate our Edge participants. We have organised learning bubbles, used a collaborative programme app and built cross territory networking teams that enhance the levels of interaction as we build a sense of community among our participants online.
We are planning to resume the Edge face-to-face international events in the future, in keeping with PwC travel regulations and Covid-19 related health considerations.
Networking
At PwC we recognise the importance of building a professional network. This programme will give you countless opportunities to develop relationships across PwC teams and beyond your national boundaries, which will prove invaluable during your career at PwC.
Rotations into our range of Deals Business Units
During the programme you will complete rotations across the PwC Deals business areas. By taking an active role in the work involved at each stage of a deal, you are going to develop into a well-rounded Deals adviser and will be able to identify the area your interests and strengths lie in.
International Exchanges for Top performers
Opportunities will be offered to top performers across EMEA to experience an international rotation into another participating Deals territory.
Technical and Business Skills training
Throughout your journey you will be supported by world-class training and learn from Learning and Development professionals and Deals practitioners. You will also learn through relevant training courses to provide you the technical and business skills you need to thrive.
Professional Qualification
Where applicable, you will be completing a professional qualification that provides you with the recognised accreditation, knowledge and skills necessary to succeed within Deals and the global market.
