For many years, it has held true that the situations predicted by the CEOs of Czech companies within the PwC CEO Survey are reflected, with the benefit of a year of hindsight, even in real economic figures. However, it was not the case last year. Filling out the questionnaire in December 2019, no one could imagine that the mythic black swan in the form of the global COVID-19 pandemic would come across in 2020.
That the whole world would change dramatically, becoming much less predictable due to the viral infection. That’s also why the CEO Survey is more important this year than in the past. It would be a great honour for us if you could participate in the survey, too, and share your nearly one year’s experience, concerning how the world of business has changed due to COVID-19, with other leaders of top companies operating in the Czech Republic.
Yours faithfully
Jiří Moser

The Forbes magazine remains the media partner of the PwC CEO Survey 2021. In this May’s issue of Forbes, you will find out how the Czech business has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic according to the local CEOs and what the CEOs expect in the near future. Meanwhile, feel free to browse last year's issue dedicated to the CEO Survey, including an interview with Jiří Moser and a detailed analysis of the CEO Survey outcomes.
CEO Survey is a unique collection of data and analyses showing how the world is perceived by the top representatives of major market leaders. This means those whose opinions and decisions highly affect the national as well as global economy, or more precisely the entire development of the society and its ability to solve problems. The survey, as well as the follow-up study, deals with the traditional economic issues comprising a consistent time series on the one hand, and with current topics on the other. The global PwC network is preparing the 24th CEO Survey; the Czech CEO Survey version is being elaborated for the 12th time. Over the years, hundreds of Czech CEOs have participated in the survey.
