Jakarta, ID – Throughout the past year, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) achieved a contract value of Rp34.84 trillion, surpassing its Work Plan and Corporate Budget (RKAP) target of Rp28.91 trillion by 17%.

Hutama Karya President Director Budi Harto stated that this achievement aligns with the third pillar of Astacita, which focuses on continued infrastructure development. The company also successfully expanded the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS), now connecting eight provinces and playing a crucial role in providing access to economic hubs and transportation nodes. Additionally, the completion of various projects and the innovation of digital technologies have contributed to this success.

“The contracts are primarily concentrated in the road and bridge sector, which accounts for 84.39%, followed by the water resources sector at 7.83%, and the building sector at 3.96%,” Budi said in his press statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (8/1/2025).

Budi further detailed that Hutama Karya secured several strategic contracts, including the construction of an integrated shrimp farming facility valued at Rp7.11 trillion. This project, executed through a joint operation between Adhi, HK, and Minarta, commenced on 31 January 2024. Additionally, the company undertook the construction of the Jampidsus Building, worth Rp318 billion.

Additionally, the company achieved a significant milestone by securing projects under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme. The projects include the Themamberamo-Elelim section of the Jayapura-Wamena Segment of the Trans-Papua Road, with an investment value of Rp3.3 trillion. Furthermore, Hutama Karya was appointed as the winner for the construction of the Panorama I Flyover (Sitinjau Lauik I) in West Sumatra Province. Both PPP projects will utilise the Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Maintain, and Transfer (DBFOMT) scheme.

In 2024, Hutama Karya completed several infrastructure projects, including Universitas Malikussaleh in Aceh, RSIA Sardjito in Yogyakarta, as well as Turyapada Tower, RSIA Ngoerah, and RSUP Sanglah Relayout in Bali. In the human resources infrastructure sector, the company successfully finished the Kobema Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) in Bengkulu and the giant sea wall for the National Capital Integrated Coastal Development (NCICD) in Jakarta.

In the transportation infrastructure sector, Hutama Karya completed several notable projects, including the construction of the Medan-Binjai Railway Route, the Joglo Underpass in Surakarta, and the widening and geometric improvements of the Soreang-Rancabali-Cidaun Road in Bandung and Cianjur Regencies. In the energy security sector, the company successfully executed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, such as the Muara Tawar Combined Cycle Power Plant (PLTGU) with a capacity of 650 MW in Bekasi and the Tambak Lorok PLTGU with a capacity of 779 MW in Semarang.

In 2024, Hutama Karya extended the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) by 83.9 kilometers, bringing the total length to 1,042 kilometers. This milestone coincided with the tenth anniversary of the JTTS construction project, which was initiated under Presidential Regulation Number 100 of 2014 and most recently amended by Presidential Regulation Number 42 of 2024.

Besides connecting JTTS, Hutama Karya has also ensured its continuity through the signing of Toll Road Concession Agreements (PPJTs) for several segments in phase 2, including the Betung-Jambi and Palembang-Betung segments.

“This is implemented to support economic growth and improve logistics efficiency between Palembang and Jambi,” Budi added.
