Investor Daily - Nusantara Infrastructure pacu penjualan bisnis non-tol
21 April 2025
Jakarta, ID — PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META) or NI is focusing this year on driving sales in the clean water supply and renewable energy sectors while consolidating all business assets of the company.
These assets include toll road assets both directly managed by META's subsidiaries and indirectly managed investment assets. Additionally, the Salim Group's toll road issuer is also consolidating businesses and services related to highways, such as rest area development along with toll road project development and construction.
NI President Director Ramdani Basri said that global challenges are inevitable. However, he believes that NI has the capability to continue growing through collaborative, innovative, and sustainable approaches.
"With synergy among business units, we are optimistic about the company's long-term prospects," Ramdani said in an official statement quoted on Sunday (20/4/2025).
NI's focus on driving sales in the clean water and renewable energy business sectors is well-reasoned. Throughout 2024, these two businesses helped support NI's growth beyond its core business in the toll road sector. As a result, NI managed to record a net profit of Rp331 billion for the 2024 financial year, a 240% year-on-year increase. In contrast, for the 2023 financial year, NI suffered a loss of Rp235 billion. NI's total assets also grew by 20% year-on-year to Rp4.6 trillion. Meanwhile, NI's consolidated revenue decreased by 68% year-on-year to Rp293 billion due to an 89% decrease in EBITDA to Rp49 billion following the deconsolidation of PT Margautama Nusantara (MUN).
