With cost reduction on the mind of most business leaders today, alternative dispute resolution processes that can be held out of the public eye and often produce more favourable results quickly and at a lower cost than going through the courts, is an attractive option.
In October 2016, I had the great opportunity to speak on this subject at the Toronto edition of the Global Pound Conference (GPC) – a new series of global events aimed at facilitating the development of future commercial and civil dispute resolution. At the GPC events held in Geneva, Lagos, Madrid, Mexico City, New York, and Singapore, we asked delegates 20 core questions about the future of dispute resolution.
And here’s what we found: Delegates are calling for more collaboration with their advisors when it comes to resolving a matter.
