Q: Luis, how do you see AI agents helping our joint PwC and Oracle clients maximize the value of their Oracle Cloud investment?

Luis: AI agents are a game-changer for enterprise transformation. We’re helping our joint clients go beyond system adoption to true transformation, leveraging agents to help them continuously optimize processes, surface insights, and act in real time across finance, supply chain, HR and customer experience. It’s about turning a static system into a dynamic, intelligent ecosystem that drives measurable business outcomes. This is where we at PwC are helping clients derive value from agentic AI strategies.

Q: Luis, PwC recently announced its own agentic AI platform, named agent OS. How does this align with Oracle AI Agent Studio, and where do you see the biggest synergy?

Luis: Agent OS and Oracle AI Agent Studio share a common vision: enabling scalable, enterprise-grade AI agents to transform how work gets done. PwC’s agent OS is designed to orchestrate multiple AI agents across business functions, and Oracle AI Agent Studio provides the foundation to build and manage these agents in parallel to the embedded agents in Oracle Fusion Applications. The synergy lies in combining PwC’s business process and industry expertise with Oracle’s AI-native infrastructure and applications, enabling faster, safer adoption at scale.

Q: From your perspective, what’s the biggest challenge enterprises face when adopting AI agents – and how is PwC addressing that?

Luis: For many of us, the biggest challenge is trust in the agents’ ability to act nearly autonomously while remaining compliant and aligned with business goals. PwC and Oracle have a shared philosophy. Through our collaboration with Oracle, we can help ensure that AI agents operate within a secure and controlled environment.

Q: Can you share a real-world use case where PwC and Oracle’s AI technologies are making a measurable impact?

Luis: Two powerful examples are in finance operations and human resources. Oracle has deployed AI agents embedded in Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) that can automate routine tasks such as Document IO for automation of procure-to-pay processes and Predictive Cash Forecasting for real-time cash management and anomaly detection. In one engagement, our customer reports that these AI agents have helped reduce cycle time by over 40% while increasing accuracy—freeing up teams to focus on higher-value strategic tasks. Oracle has also embedded agentic AI within Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) to accelerate hiring and employee on-boarding and provide benefits insights and recommendations. These AI agents assist in tasks such as answering questions, offering personalized recommendations, and helping to complete tasks on behalf of employees, all within the context of specific business processes. By allowing for the automation of routine tasks and providing real-time, context-aware assistance, these AI agents enable business leaders to focus on more strategic initiatives, enhance employee experiences, and drive organizational efficiency.

Q: What does PwC’s agent OS bring to clients that traditional automation or bots don’t, and how does Oracle’s tech play a role in that?

Luis: Agent OS can be deployed to reason, learn and collaborate to automate end-to-end workflows. Oracle AI Agent Studio enables PwC to complement embedded agents with custom agent capabilities and add new agents using business rules and security framework of Fusion Applications. Together, we’re enabling AI agents to work across finance, supply chain, HR and customer experience with a depth of insight that bots simply can’t reach.

Q: Looking ahead, how do you see PwC and Oracle continuing to innovate together in the AI agent space?

Luis: We see this as just the beginning. PwC is investing in developing industry-specific use cases, while Oracle continues to expand the number of embedded use cases and Oracle AI Agent Studio capabilities across its Fusion Applications Suite. Our vision is to co-innovate, bringing together Oracle’s technical excellence and PwC’s business transformation know-how to help clients reimagine entire functions through AI. Expect to see more innovation to accelerate business outcomes coming soon.
