London, 23 March 2026 – The Board of Directors (Global Board) of PricewaterhouseCoopers International Limited (PwCIL) has appointed Mads Nipper and Neil Parekh as external directors to its Global Governance Board, the body responsible for governance of PwCIL and the PwC network, oversight of PwC’s Network Leadership Team, and approval of the standards by which PwC firms operate.
Parekh and Nipper will work with the existing PwCIL Global Governance Board members, made up of partners and principals from PwC firms from across the world. Alongside Jaya Vaidhyanathan, they bring the number of external directors on the Board to three. Nipper joined the Global Governance Board on 16 March 2026, and Parekh will be joining on 1 June 2026.
Nipper is an international business leader with executive experience across consumer goods, industrial manufacturing and renewable energy. He currently serves as chair of the Board of MacArtney Underwater Technology Group and has held senior leadership roles at the LEGO Group, where he played a key role in the company’s transformation and global growth. He most recently served as chief executive officer of Ørsted A/S from 2021 to 2025, and previously as chief executive officer and president of Grundfos.
Parekh is a senior financial services executive and board leader with extensive leadership experience across Asia and global financial markets. He currently serves as vice chairman of SMBC Group Asia Pacific and deputy chairman of Singapore’s Global Finance & Technology Network, and previously served as a Nominated member of Parliament in Singapore. He most recently served as partner and head of Asia, Australia and New Zealand at Tikehau Capital; and as general manager, Asia, at National Australia Bank.
