And UiPath’s enterprise platform, combined with PwC’s digital transformation experience, upskilling technology and global market reach, can help move businesses forward. Through a robust portfolio of automation solutions that can provide immediate impact for the enterprise, PwC and UiPath deliver sustained business outcomes for your organization.

PwC US is taking lessons learned from our own digital transformation to organizations globally, helping them develop and execute their digital transformation strategy with robotic process automation (RPA) solutions. These solutions are designed to drive efficiencies by automating time-consuming tasks and freeing time to dedicate to value-add activities that can benefit both individuals and the enterprise. Upskilling in automation technologies can lead to sustained business outcomes.

Kevin Kroen, Partner, Intelligent Automation and Digital Upskilling Leader, PwC US, said, “Citizen-led automation was the secret sauce to success in our own large scale digital transformation. It resulted in the savings of millions of work hours across the firm. We’re excited to be sharing that formula with our clients. And we’re excited that the research is demonstrating the benefits citizen developer programs can deliver.”

In a recent IDC InfoBrief, sponsored by PwC and UiPath, titled ‘Accelerating the Impact of Robotic Process Automation’, (September 2022 | IDC Doc #US49678322) the analyst conducted a U.S. web-based survey on behalf of PwC and UiPath to better understand citizen automation programs in North America and their impact on an enterprise’s automation agenda. The survey identified:

  • The impact and value citizen automation programs achieve compared to organizations that do not offer these programs.
  • How successful citizen developers are rewarded, how their careers advanced, how they spend their time, and their key challenges.

  • What features are offered in citizen automation programs to train, support, and advance citizen developers.

  • This InfoBrief will be useful to center of excellence (COE) teams interested in, planning to offer, or upgrading and expanding a citizen automation program.
