Visitors to our offices

What personal data do we collect?

When you visit our offices, we will collect personal data through the security measures we have in place (CCTV systems and the building access controls) or through your use of our guest Wi-Fi networks.

The personal data we will collect includes your name, business card details, your image, reasons for your visit and device or network identifiers (such as IP address) if you connect to one of our guest Wi-Fi networks.

How do we use your personal data?

  • CCTV usage

We use CCTV at our offices and sites for security purposes where we are permitted by applicable laws. Where required by applicable laws we have signs in place showing where the CCTV is in operation.

This processing is necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interest for the security and safety of our personnel and members of the public, and for preventing and detecting crime. Our CCTV is only accessed when needed (i.e. following an incident) and is not continuously monitored.
  • visitor records:

We keep a record of who attends our offices and require visitors to sign in, providing details of their name and the reasons for their visit/who they are visiting.

This processing is necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests for the security and safety of our personnel and members of the public. We will only access those records on a need-to-know basis (i.e. after an incident or if we need to know who is in our office during an emergency)
  • guest Wi-Fi:

We monitor traffic on our guest Wi-Fi networks using industry standard intrusion detection systems.

This processing is necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests to ensure the safety of our online networks.

How long will we keep your personal data?

Depending on your location we will only keep your records for a short period of time, in accordance with applicable laws. Records will be overwritten or deleted following the retention period, unless we are required to keep them to investigate an incident.
