Jaime Alonso

Jaime is a Corporate Finance Partner in Madrid and leads Spain’s Corporate Finance Utilities practice.  He is also a senior member of PwC’s Global Deals Origination Team where his primary focus is the development of value enhancing investment opportunities for large corporates and global investors such as pension, infrastructure, Private Equities (PEs) and Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs) on a global basis. Jaime is very involved with deals in the renewables industry, carve outs/spin offs of non-core assets and helping large caps with international cross border expansion. Jaime has extensive experience in the oil & gas, utilities, telecommunications, and real estate sectors.

Jaime has over 22 years of Corporate Finance experience, working at Goldman Sachs, Dresdner Kleinwort, Lazard and Leonardo & Co. with a significant track record in regulated sectors such as utilities and infrastructure in Spain and Latin America. He also has extensive equity and debt capital experience in some of the largest privatisations/secondary offerings in the EU.
