Reimagining Future Ready Leadership

February 08, 2023

An immersive leadership development journey for Redington to develop the understanding, skills, and capabilities they need to successfully lead through transformation.

Redington and PwC India worked together to build alignment and commitment around the strategic direction and develop new ways of working for the organization. Their goal, to initiate a ‘One Redington’ thinking across the 40 countries they operated in, enhance shared capabilities and services to leverage best practices across the organization.

Redington was at a critical point in their organizational journey. They were undergoing a major strategic realignment, and consequently, their wish to lead with solutions and services, and digital transformation was not a choice anymore. This called for a significant shift in mindset, and Redington approached PwC India to support them in this journey of initiating this change and enhancing leadership capability within the top teams of the organization.

PwC brought into play a behavioral competency framework to anchor the learning agenda for the leaders across businesses and geographies, enabling them to better understand the changing asks and expectations and equipping them to deliver the ‘One Redington Agenda’. PwC India curated detailed leadership development journeys consisting of multiple blended learning interventions, including action projects, experiential learning programs, industry leader engagements and coaching to name a few, keeping in mind the changing business landscape and evolving asks from the leaders of tomorrow.

Together, Redington and PwC India transformed Redington’s leadership and built a more adaptable culture that was attuned to changing market conditions and equipped with the competencies and attributes to help steer Redington through the next growth phase.

IDC’s customer case study, titled ‘Redington undertakes a leadership transformation program to prepare troops for the future’ sponsored by PwC (January 2023, IDC #AP753044T) notes, “Disruptions require organizations to reinvent and transform themselves. Redington's case study highlights the urgent need for leadership transformation and changes in management for businesses to become more resilient, agile, and future-ready.”

On the experience of collaborating with Redington, Chaitali Mukherjee, Partner and Leader, People and Organisation, PwC India, said “We’re delighted that Redington chose PwC India to help them with this Leadership Transformation process. They had a vision to reinvent their leadership to expand the organization's capabilities radically, shift their executives' mindsets, and focus on talent development and leadership succession. Our team at PwC India was equally bold but also pragmatic to make sure the project delivered the expected outcomes in the tight timeframes. There was a desire to work quickly, be agile, identify and articulate the leadership capabilities they need for the future, co-create a development roadmap for the leaders, and put it into practice. Together, Redington and PwC India were focussed on one vision, to move from their current state to become a better version of themselves, through a holistic and comprehensive development journey. We’re proud of the part we played.”
