We asked graduate employees currently working in London about their motivations, attitudes and expectations of work. Here's what they had to say.

Fifty-two percent of millennials said that the opportunity for progression made an employer an attractive prospect. What are the other factors that make an organisation an attractive employer?

Millennials expect to work hard, but they don’t want to sit in a bland cubicle all day. They’re drawn to organisations that offer a comfortable and stimulating atmosphere that creatively blends work and life.

One of the strongest millennial traits is that they welcome and expect detailed, regular feedback and praise for a job well done – 51% of those questioned said feedback should be given very frequently or continually on the job.

In an increasingly globalised world, international experience is seen by millennials as a vital element to a successful career. Millennials have a strong appetite for working abroad, with 71% keen to do so at some stage during their career.
