Larissa Dyomina

Larissa Dyomina is a partner in the Audit and Assurance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Toronto office. She’s a member of the national Accounting Consulting Services group (ACS), specializing in financial instruments accounting.
Larissa joined PwC in 2000 as an audit manager in the banking group. Her practical experience in banking and investment management audits coupled with her strong technical knowledge helps to establish that solutions provided to clients are practical and commercially viable.
Larissa deals with accounting and financial reporting issues under different frameworks, including IFRS, US GAAP and Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), and works with both public and private clients. As part of providing accounting support to engagement teams, she is directly involved with a broad range of industries as either a designated technical contact or as a financial instruments specialist.
Larissa is actively involved in preparing the firm’s accounting guidance, developing and presenting training, as well as assisting and sharing knowledge with other lines of service. She is also an accredited member of the PwC Global ACS group, and participates in the Global IFRS Financial Instruments Topic Team and the Global Virtual Insurance Group.
Larissa was a member of the CICA Task Force IFRS for Academicians, developing IFRS teaching materials for Canada’s accounting academics. She has also served as a member of the CICA Task Force on Internal Control over Financial Reporting.
