Innovation Recognized at the 2017 PwC Vision to Reality (V2R) Innovator of the Year Award
Call for applications open until January 6, 2017
Toronto, October 3, 2016 – PwC Canada announced today that it is now accepting applications for the 2017 PwC V2R Innovator of the Year Award. This year’s award program is open to organizations of all sizes, industries and sectors whose innovative ideas have added value to people, business or society.
“PwC Canada is proud to celebrate organizations who personify the potential Canada has to become a global innovation leader,” said Tahir Ayub, Managing Partner, Markets and Industries, PwC Canada. “Whether an organization stands out from the pack, is a change agent, or is the first to develop an idea, the Vision to Reality Innovator of the Year Award recognizes how businesses of different sizes challenge convention and turn vision into reality.”
In addition to being recognized for leadership and innovation, the V2R Innovator of the Year Award provides recipients with an opportunity for Canada-wide recognition, networking opportunities and exposure to entrepreneurs, CEOs and other industry leaders. Winners will be announced at the award ceremony on June 1, 2017 in Toronto.
Organizations can apply in one of three award categories:
The disruptor: Small organizations or start-ups – Under $25M in revenue (including pre-revenue), Canadian-controlled or headquartered in Canada, privately held or publicly-traded, or representing the public sector.
The builder: Mid-market organizations – Between $25 - $500M in revenue, Canadian-controlled or headquartered in Canada, privately held or publicly-traded, or representing the public sector.
The visionary: Large organizations – More than $500M in revenue, Canadian-controlled or headquartered in Canada, privately held or publicly-traded, or representing the public sector.
