PwC's 2018 Global Transfer Pricing conference will be held later this year in Tokyo. On this podcast episode, members of the PwC Japan Transfer Pricing practice discuss transfer pricing trends in Japan and how they may practically impact taxpayers. Transfer Pricing specialists Michael Polashek, Goro Mizushima, and Ashlyn Kayoboke will discuss tax audits of intercompany transactions in Japan, examine intercompany transactions specifically under the Japanese "donation" rules, and provide an update on a new program instituted by the National Tax Agency for the purpose of advising certain taxpayers on the preparation of the required Local File.
