Tony Poulter
Global Consulting leader
Tony Poulter is the Global Consulting Leader at PwC. He is responsible for leading this $8bn business, with a particular focus on its strategy, market position, growth and operating model, including acquisitions such as Strategy& and PRTM and senior international recruitment.
Before taking his current role in 2007 Tony had background in the UK government and then as a leading adviser on infrastructure financing in transport, water and defence.
He was our head of Advisory in Asia-Pacific (2003-2007); and global head of Project Finance and Privatisation (1996-2003). Previous roles were on Project Finance, privatisation, deregulation and competition policy and in the UK Civil Service (1979-1987). He is also the Senior Independent Director at the UK Green Investment Bank. He has an MA in English from Oxford University MSc in Economics from the London Business School and lives with his family in London near Hampton Court.
