Mat Falconer

Mat serves as PwC’s Global Financial Services Leader and global client partner of a large, multinational banking organisation. He is responsible for the strategy, direction, and focus of PwC’s market-leading banking, insurance, asset and wealth management, and real estate businesses across all markets. Financial services (FS) makes up 30% of PwC’s global business, driven by more than 80,000 professionals with relevant FS industry skills.

Mat has extensive experience working with top-tier financial services institutions, leading large global teams in both audit and consulting services. He has held several key roles at PwC, including Global Assurance Clients and Markets Leader and Global Financial Services Assurance Leader. Mat is based in London and has previously lived and worked in Zurich and Tokyo.

Mat holds a BA Hons in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford University and is a qualified ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
