Global Power & Utilities Assurance Leader, PwC Netherlands
Jeroen van Hoof, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands serves as Global Power & Utilities Assurance Leader. Jeroen also leads the Dutch Energy Utilities and Mining practice. Jeroen is active in PwC’s international Energy & Utility community and has 18 years of relevant experience, serving as an audit partner on Power & Utilities and Global Upstream companies. In addition, Jeroen is a recognised expert and has advised many companies, policiy makers and regulators in the changing Dutch Energy & Utilities landscape, including unbundling, regulation and liberalisation through a broad range of services and on major transactions. Jeroen has deep capabilities in IFRS and US GAAP industry accounting and reporting issues, and interoffice reporting structures.
During his career, Jeroen served major Power & Utility companies active in the Netherlands including Nuon/Vattenfall, RWE/Essent, Centrica/Oxxio, Gas Natural and EPZ. He is an expert in sustainability reporting and assurance, serving Nuon/Vattenfall and Shell for more than a decade. Jeroen is a Lead Audit partner on the largest Oil & Gas producing company in the Netherlands, the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij B.V. (NAM BV, a joint venture of its shareholders Shell and ExxonMobil).
Jeroen is responsible for the development of the International Executive Master Finance & Control Program for the Energy Industry (Energy Academy Rijksuniversiteit Groningen).
