Carl is PwC UK’s Chief Markets Officer (CMO) and the Global Clients and Industries Leader responsible for designing and delivering our go-to-market strategy; driving growth, market reputation and client service delivery.
Carl has been a member of the UK Executive Committee since 2020 and a UK Partner since 2009. He has more than 25 years of international experience in assurance and advisory services. During his career, Carl has predominantly worked in the financial services industry and has experience working with some of the world’s largest and most complex banking institutions, having spent 2 years based in New York. He has previously led the National Banking & Capital Markets Audit practice as well as the Midlands Financial Services team.
In addition to his responsibilities at PwC, Carl is the UK Competitiveness Committee Co-Chair of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland.
