PwC named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: SAP Implementation Services

PwC has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide SAP Implementation Services. Using the IDC MarketScape Model, IDC examined 11 global services companies. SAP helps companies of all sizes and industries to innovate through simplification and digital transformation by aggregating all emerging technologies and integrating these tools to help users reimagine business.

PwC starts by helping their clients determine the right business strategy to align with business needs. Once goals have been established, PwC utilizes technology as an enabler and supports their clients in finding and implementing the right digital tools.

The report notes, “Buyers rate PwC highly for its ability to integrate its project team with their internal team and for providing sincere and trustworthy resources for a project.”

IDC states in the report, “PwC's approach to SAP is about solving business problems in a way that they are supported and enabled by technology but not driven by technology alone, and its investment in a global network of experience centers helps make the BXT approach real for SAP clients.”

IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT (information and communications technology) suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilises a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. IDC MarketScape provides a clear framework in which the product and service offerings, capabilities and strategies, and current and future market success factors of IT and telecommunications vendors can be meaningfully compared. The framework also provides technology buyers with a 360-degree assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current and prospective vendors.
