2010 Federal Budget Submission (February 1, 2010)

PricewaterhouseCoopers provided the Minister of Finance with income tax proposals for inclusion in next month's federal budget. Stressing our support of government efforts to strengthen the Canadian economy and enhance the competitiveness of Canadian businesses, we urge the government to:

• Maintain its policy to reduce corporate tax rates
• Introduce a tax consolidation system for corporate groups and
• Accept the recommendations of the Advisory Panel on Canada's System of International Taxation
