Digital Heroes

Digital Heroes supports refugees and underserved communities as they settle into a new country by building practical digital skills aligned to today’s job market.

Developed in response to needs identified through partner organisations, the programme draws on PwC Middle East’s learning and capability-building expertise to improve employability and strengthen longer-term prospects.

Participants progress through structured learning pathways, supported by PwC mentors and access to a certified digital learning platform that enables continued development at their own pace. High-performing participants are identified through the programme and supported through a competitive selection process, with a small number offered internships at PwC Middle East to gain hands-on experience and translate skills into real-world outcomes. These placements provide practical experience and exposure to professional environments, helping translate newly developed skills into tangible outcomes.

Operating across Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan, Digital Heroes continues to expand its reach and deepen its impact. Beyond individual outcomes, participants often take their skills back into their communities, supporting wider access to digital learning where infrastructure allows. By combining structured training, long-term access to learning and clear pathways into employment, the initiative supports inclusion, capability-building and more sustainable opportunity across the region.
