You’ll work across a variety of clients in a range of industries to help our clients build and maintain trust - by ensuring the quality of their financial statements, or helping them navigate complex risks. Each of our Assurance Graduates has a different journey. 

We help each client achieve their potential, taking the stress out of accounting regulations and delivering their financial statements with trust and transparency through a new perspective. We also help safeguard them against a widening array of risks, and where possible, to capitalise on them. Over the two years, we’ll help you to learn how to present information effectively, ensuring it’s clear to people with all levels of knowledge, areas and backgrounds.

Opportunities and requirements

In Assurance, you will be able to count on constant support from your team, career coach and buddy to help you realise your goals. You will also have the opportunity to study for your chartered accounting qualification or other relevant certifications, depending on your business unit. 

  • Programme duration: 2 years 

  • Professional qualifications: Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA)

We’re looking for independent graduates with a keen eye for detail. You need to be curious, particular in the work you’ll do and confident in asking questions. You should also be:

  • A recent or final-year undergraduate on track for a 3.2 GPA or equivalent in a Accounting, Finance, Civil Engineering, Technology or Business-related degree subject area

  • Fluent in English with a preference for native Arabic language skills (spoken and written)

Risk Hub

As a response to the rapid growth of the Risk regional Business Unit that operates in multiple locations in the ME region, we are developing our practices based in Lebanon, Egypt & Jordan to support in the delivery of a variety of clients and engagements across the region, and specifically in KSA, UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar.

Controls Assurance

Controls Assurance is a specialist team within our Audit practice that combines a mix of technology, data, business and accounting expertise to how we audit clients across all industries. We perform IT General Controls testing, Business Process Controls reviews and ICOFR.

Risk

The world of risk is evolving at unprecedented speed. Organisations in the Middle East, like their global peers, are vulnerable to new and developing strategic, technical, talent and reputational risks, to add to the region’s significant geopolitical and macroeconomic challenges. Our team keeps pace with these changes, advising clients both on how to defend themselves against a widening array of risks and, where possible, how to capitalise on them.

Our CIPS team works across a number of sectors: power, water and utilities; industrial products; real estate and construction; and aviation, transport and logistics. We deliver services such as supply-chain management, spending efficiency and operational management, playing a vital role in supporting governments and other public and private-sector organisations.

Technology and Digital Services

PwC’s technology professionals in the Middle East help clients align their IT resources with their business objectives and minimise key risks. We support organisations to adopt leading practices in IT management, quality assurance and IT governance, to improve the ‘fit’ of services and solutions to their specific needs.

Our Digital Services team has around 150 people working in the region across diverse areas. They include digital and experience consulting, with a focus on creative solutions and strategy; implementation and development, focusing primarily on SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft capabilities; and ideation, data and analytics.

Finance and Accounting

We advise CEOs, CFOs, controllers and treasurers on how to optimise the structure of finance functions to improve their contribution to the business.

Financial Services

Our Financial Services (FS) team advises clients on key issues such as the impact of risk and regulation, financial crime, innovations in mobile and digital technologies, the disruptive impact of fintech and changing customer needs.

Government & Public Services

We combine a broad understanding of regulatory and economic conditions with domestic and international expertise to work with governments and public-sector entities across the region. Our team delivers innovative solutions that improve government performance while optimising budgets.

Business Restructuring Services

We are one of the largest practices in the Middle East, advising under-performing companies on restructuring, refinancing, wind-downs and insolvency. Whatever the crisis, we find the best way forward for the business and its stakeholders.

Forensic Services

We help our clients to prepare for, respond to and emerge stronger from a wide range of business risks and emergencies. They include major public inquiries, rogue trader or bribery allegations, cybercrime and commercial and transactional disputes across a variety of industry sectors.

Valuations

We support clients in determining key commercial and strategic valuations on business deals or restructuring, disputes, tax regulation and financial reporting. Valuing a business involves a blend of technical and industry knowledge, commercial and market insight and an inquisitive mind.

Corporate Finance

We provide financial advisory services across multiple industry sectors, from origination of deals through to execution of acquisitions and disposals. Our clients include corporates, family businesses, sovereign investment funds and private-equity firms.

Deals Strategy & Operations (DSO)

We provide strategic and operational advice across the deal lifecycle, from setting the strategy to post-deal execution. Our services include: advising corporates, investment funds and government entities on strategic investment decisions; conducting commercial and operational due diligence on potential target acquisitions; developing business plans; and a range of post-deal operations services such as post-merger integration, synergy analysis and carve-outs.

Government and Infrastructure

We help clients resolve issues and deploy global best practice at all stages in the lifecycle of major projects and programmes.
