PwC Canada reveals finalists for 2019 Vision to Reality Awards

Toronto, March 28, 2019 - Twenty Canadian organizations from various industries, such as biomedical, farming, financial services and the public sector were announced today as PwC Canada’s 2019 Vision to Reality (V2R) Awards finalists. The awards were open to organizations of all sizes, from game-changing startups to established organizations who are re-imagining the way they work.

The awards include four categories such the visionary (CA$0 - $50M), the builder (CA$50M - $1B), the reinventor (CA$1B+) and the accelerator (public service) and themes emerged in each one of them.

  • The visionary finalists are emerging companies and start-ups using the power of technology for good to deliver medical breakthroughs and innovations focused on sustainability.
  • The builder finalists are mid-market organizations actively innovating to improve product quality and find efficiencies that help them get to the next level.
  • The reinventor category are some of Canada’s largest and most recognizable brands, each undergoing business transformations to create revolutionary customer experiences.
  • The accelerator finalists are public sector organizations using technology to find innovative ways to enhance the citizen experience and make a positive impact on society.
