PwC Middle East and Milliman hosted the ME IFRS 17 webinar: Be prepared for implementation on 16 December 2020. The webinar explored key takeaways and learnings from over 35+ projects in the Middle East and 250+ projects worldwide and views from the regulators on the key focus areas for insurers to make sure they meet the required deadlines. Insights were shared on the status of IFRS 17 projects, regulatory development, trends and lessons learned. As well as IFRS 17 implementation tools, proactive assurance and the role of the external auditor as well as key considerations from similar experiences. The webinar concluded with insights from our panel of regulators and a Q&A session with attendees.
