Our capital markets and accounting advisory professionals in the Middle East provide professional advisory services to clients as they work their way through the regulatory and technical accounting aspects of deals in the following three core areas:
Capital markets transactions
We assist clients as they plan and execute their capital market transactions. Whether the planned transaction is a 144A, EMTN or IPO, our team has the requisite expertise and skills to assist and typically advises on IPO readiness, listing requirements, financial statements and accounting policies, prospectus preparation, reporting obligations and corporate governance.
Our team includes accounting specialists with extensive IFRS, IPSAS and other accounting framework capabilities combined with industry expertise primarily in the financial services, government, energy and telecommunications industries. Our team also has access to the global PwC network which means that we can readily access industry expertise on any type of complex transaction. In addition to technical accounting advisory services, our team assists in the performance of purchase price allocation exercises, goodwill impairment reviews, credit accounting and advisory services and accounting conversions.
We advise our clients through all stages of a deal and provide services ranging from accounting advice on proposed transaction structures, to purchase price allocations, policy application assessments and IFRS conversions (or other accounting conversions) at the time of execution, through to carve-out and divestiture support at the time of exit. Our team has provided deal advisory services to some of PwC’s largest international clients and has the requisite skills and expertise to meet our clients’ needs at any stage of a deal.
