Muscat, Oman — October 1, 2023 — PwC Middle East in Oman hosted its annual tax seminar, themed "Navigating Tomorrow's Possibilities," on Sunday, October 1, in Oman.

The seminar attracted over 100 attendees from various industries and served as a platform for engaging discussions, talking about a diverse range of critical topics. These discussions included an exploration of the latest updates in Oman's dynamic tax landscape, insights into customs and excise matters with a specific focus on their potential impact on businesses and an examination of the potential of E-invoicing and its implications for modern tax compliance. Additionally, the event delved into the significance of ESG in the corporate world, exploring how these factors influence tax planning strategies. Furthermore, attendees gained insights into strategies and best practices for optimising transfer pricing, a crucial component of international business operations. The seminar also offered an examination of corporate income tax considerations in the UAE, a topic of particular relevance in the region. Moreover, gave a deeper understanding of taxation dynamics in the region and provided valuable insights for future endeavours. Accomplished thought leaders, stakeholders, analysts as well as Oman tax authority joined PwC Middle East in Oman’s annual Tax seminar.
