Members of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Canadian National Tax Services team provided the Minister of Finance with income tax proposals in preparation for the 2011 federal budget. The proposals aim to improve the liquidity and competitiveness of Canadian businesses.

PwC’s 2011 proposals for the Minister’s consideration featured ideas relate to:

• Providing better access to foreign markets for Canadian business
• Appropriate Canadian dollar valuation
• Canadian technology and product development
• Efficient Canadian capital markets
