HR Academy

HR Academy is a study program suitable for business people who are interested to enhancing their HR knowledge and skills and supporting their career with learning and applying the newest trends in HR management.

The PwC Academy is an accredited tuition provider of CIPD qualifications (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development). The Academy has earned Centre of Excellence status for the CEE region. It organizes, coordinates and manages CIPD qualifications in 13 European countries.

We have designed the HR Academy study programme based on our experience of HR education, knowledge of the PwC world network and CIPD as a professional organization. Our goal is to be a part of agile HR development in Slovakia and to create an inspiring study environment for knowledge sharing.

HR Academy with the PwC’s Academy:

  • 6-month study program in the Slovak language, covering key HR areas.
  • Interactive program comprising four facilitated workshops.
  • Practical application using case studies, group and individual assignments and activities.
  • Working with the results of the latest research, theories and application practice.
  • Sharing experience and best practice among course participants from different companies and industries.
  • Presentation of a short case study focused on application of HR initiative in the corporate environment.
  • 8 training days.
  • Support from the trainer throughout the entire study period.
  • Study is completed by award of PwC's Academy Certificate.

Vanda Šinková
Vanda has extensive experience in HR management. Currently, she is the leader of the CIPD Centre of Excellence for PwC Academies in the CEE, and delivers CIPD qualifications in several CEE countries. In her HR leader role, Vanda has been responsible for the overall HR management agenda, and for strategic HR and change management, as well as organisational and talent development.
