One of the world’s largest professional services firms in the world, PwC, has appointed Saudi-based Riyadh Al Najjar to its Global Board.
The Global Board of PwC plays a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, providing guidance on global initiatives, and ensuring alignment across territories and member firms to drive growth and transformation.
Globally, PwC has than 370,000 people in 140+ countries, with the 18-person Global Board representing the interest of all members of the PwC network.
Freshly appointed Board member Riyadh Al Najjar is one of PwC’s top leaders in the Middle East, currently serving as Middle East Chairman and Country Senior Partner for Saudi Arabia. He has been with the firm since 2009 and has grown the ranks within its consulting business. As Chairman, he oversees a workforce of over 12,000 people in 12 Middle Eastern countries.
Commenting on his election, Al Najjar said: “I am honoured to join the Global Board and contribute to shaping the firm’s strategic direction on a global scale. This role reinforces our commitment to building trust and driving transformation across the Middle East, in alignment with regional priorities and economic ambitions. PwC’s Global Board is chaired by Sebastian di Paola, who is a partner in Switzerland. 15 of the 18 members are leaders in the firm’s practices in North America and Europe.
