Women in Tech morning, in collaboration with Microsoft

Our recent Women in Tech morning, in collaboration with our alliance partner Microsoft, brought together clients, Microsoft and PwC colleagues for a lively and engaging morning discussing the challenges, opportunities and future for women in the technology field.

A panel discussion on women just entering the technology workforce kicked off the day, followed by a fireside chat with Mona Abouhana, PwC’s Chief People Officer and Microsoft’s Zeina Fakhry, HR Director for UAE & Saudi Arabia, on how to welcome and retain diversity in Tech.

It was then time to get active with an allyship workshop facilitated by PwC’s Zina Janabi, Middle East Inclusion & Diversity Director and Raed Kaddoura, examining what an ally is and the benefits of being or having an ally.

Rania Masri Al Khatib, Founder of the The RMK Collective and former Chief Transformation Officer at Chalhoub, then gave a passionate keynote on the importance of personal branding and how you talk about your success can make all the difference. The event concluded with a spirited Q&A, highlighting that we are at our best when we bring together diverse experiences and perspectives.

As alliance partners PwC and Microsoft continuously explore ways of collaboration and driving a human-led tech agenda. We were the first professional services firm to establish a global strategic alliance with Microsoft based on business transformation. Together, PwC and Microsoft empower organisations to confidently solve their most important challenges and build trust in tomorrow. Right technology. Real results.
