The discussions focused on the opportunities for businesses and activating their climate agenda at COP28.

Dr Yahya AnoutiOur in-event poll revealed that 79% of those in the room knew that their company had made a carbon-neutral and/or net-zero commitment. It also gave insight that the top 3 hopes of COP28 for the audience were:
- To understand how public and private sectors will come together on climate action
- To hear about the climate commitments that the region and/or UAE will make
- To upskill on climate and COP processes
Discussions also centered around expectations for the legacy of COP28, what this look might like and concluded with ways in which companies can take action on their climate agenda now, to really make a difference in the six month countdown to COP.
