Imad Matar is the Middle East Deals Leader at PwC and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. He leads the Deals business across the region, helping clients create value through transactions, transformation and strategic investments. With more than 25 years of experience, he advises organisations on complex transactions and long-term growth strategies.
Working closely with clients across the region, Imad brings together PwC's Deals capabilities to help organisations navigate complexity, unlock opportunities and deliver sustainable growth through transactions and strategic investments.
Since joining PwC in 2001, Imad has played a key role in the growth of the firm's Deals practice and has led more than 500 transactions across sectors including real estate, financial services, retail, construction, manufacturing and healthcare.
Imad has advised on some of the region's most significant transactions and investment programmes, working with Sovereign Wealth Funds, private equity firms, investment banks, private businesses and public sector entities. He has also contributed to the development of market best practices through his engagement with regulators and capital market participants.
