Vipul Soni

Vipul Soni is a Director in the Deal Strategy and Value Creation practice in the Toronto area.
Vipul is a finance professional with over 16 years of international merger and acquisition (M&A) and strategy experience across Asia, Europe and North America. In his current role, Vipul focuses on growth strategy, value enhancement, and analytics-powered business insights for clients across automotive, industrial manufacturing and engineering & construction sectors. He is also one of the leaders in PwC Canada's Private Equity (PE) practice and was recognized as one of 30 Emerging Leaders in PE within PwC’s global network.
Prior to joining PwC Canada, Vipul worked as a Director of M&A at a professional services firm in India where he specialized in cross border acquisitions in the automotive space. In this capacity, he helped Japanese and European corporations acquire targets in India and assisted Indian corporations with their expansions in Europe. He has also led corporate development for a large auto components manufacturer in Europe, leading strategic transactions in multiple countries across forging, casting and machining to significantly increase the group’s revenue. Early part of Vipul’s career was spent in investment banking in the UK.
