Shawn Gandhi

Shawn is a Cloud, Data & AI Partner at PwC Canada, where he advises chief executives, boards, and leadership teams on enterprise technology strategy and transformation. His hands-on expertise with computer engineering, cloud, and AI gives clients a concrete path to production success.

Over the past 25 years, he has been at the forefront of major technology waves, from modernizing capital markets on Wall Street, to bringing cloud computing to Canada's largest enterprises, and leading AI transformations at the world's largest hyperscalers. Rather than following industry trends, Shawn has been setting them and helping the world adopt.

A technology executive and keynote speaker, Shawn has advised the product strategy and technical direction of the world’s largest brands and their global engineering footprint. His work has helped leading brands adopt agile methodologies, build resilient microservice architectures, reimagine customer experiences, deploy global cloud footprints, and unlock new revenue models using the latest in AI.

Shawn spent nearly half of his career in New York, working with leading financial institutions in one of the world's most demanding technology markets. Returning to Canada, he became Chief Architect for one of the country's largest banks before helping pioneer cloud adoption across the enterprise landscape. He later served as Worldwide Leader for AI Solutions, guiding global teams responsible for turning artificial intelligence into real-world business impact.

Today, Shawn leads global engineering organizations while advising organizations on AI, innovation, product and technology strategy. He is driven by one belief: every generation of technology creates new market leaders, and organizations that reinvent first help define the future.

Beyond his client work, Shawn serves on the Board of Directors of CanadaHelps, Canada's largest charitable social enterprise, where he helps shape the future of digital giving and the nonprofit sector. He has been recognized with the Ottawa Business Journal's Forty Under 40 award for professional achievement and community impact.

Outside the boardroom, Shawn coaches youth baseball, basketball, and hockey, helping to develop the next generation of leaders through teamwork, resilience, and leadership.
