Sean Wilson is a Vancouver based partner in PwC’s tax practice.

Sean provides knowledge based guidance and advice to assist his clients with all varieties of personal and corporate tax matters, including advising public and private corporations in all matters relating to taxation.

Since joining PwC in 1992, Sean has worked with a broad range of clients from multinational public corporations to individuals, trusts and private/family held businesses, advising them on all areas of taxation including: compliance, group structure planning, acquisition and disposition strategies, restructuring, outbound and non-resident inbound planning and tax integrated shareholder planning. 

Sean has industry experience in forestry, mining, real estate, transportation, retail, consumer and industrial products and services. Sean briefly also held the CFO role of a local shipping container company.

Sean graduated with a BCom (Accounting) from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver in 1992, earned his CPA-CA designation in 1995, and completed the CICA In-Depth Tax program in 1999. He is currently a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation. In addition, Sean has dedicated time to lecture at several internal and external PwC and non-PwC presentations and courses including, The PwC Americas School of Mines, the Canadian Tax Foundation 2009 BC Tax Conference and 2014 National Tax Conference.  Sean has also tutored at the CICA In-Depth Tax Course.
