Peter Choi

Peter is a Manager in PwC Law’s US immigration practice. His experience consists of helping employers and employees with a wide range of US immigration matters, including nonimmigrant worker petitions, nonimmigrant visa applications, and applications to extend or change nonimmigrant status; immigrant worker petitions, immigrant visa applications, and applications to adjust to permanent resident status; and matters concerning prevailing wages and working conditions, such as Labor Condition Applications, Applications for Prevailing Wage Determinations, and Applications for Permanent Employment Certification. Peter has worked with employers of various sizes from small businesses to multinational corporations, and across a range of industries including banking, investment management, insurance, auction, and technology. 

Peter is a member of the Maryland bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and is a Foreign Legal Consultant registered with the Law Society of Ontario.  His publications include The Green Card Process through the Lens of a DMV Visit, AILA Think Immigration Blog (September 8, 2020); Immigration as Business Strategy: Simplifying American Immigration Law in a Global Economy, 10 University of Massachusetts Law Review 164 (2015); and The Duty of Care as a Duty in Rem, 4 Journal of Law: A Periodical Laboratory of Legal Scholarship (1 New Voices) 307 (2014). As a law student, Peter served as a Research Editor of the George Mason University Civil Rights Law Journal and interned at the Arlington Immigration Court in the US Department of Justice.
