Andrea Hwang is a Senior Associate Lawyer with PwC Law LLP in Toronto, Ontario.
Andrea practices exclusively in the area of Canadian business immigration law. She advises both corporate clients and individuals on all matters relating to temporary and permanent residence applications to Canada and has experience dealing with Canadian immigration authorities abroad and within Canada. Additionally, Andrea is licensed to practice law in Quebec and advises clients on immigration matters pertaining to applications for Quebec Selection Certificates (CSQ) and Quebec Acceptation Certificates (CAQ) presented to the Ministère d’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration.
Prior to joining PwC Law LLP, Andrea worked at global corporate immigration law firms where she represented clients from various industries including, accounting, engineering, retail and manufacturing. She provided advice and strategies on the transfer and relocation of employees to Canada and their transition to permanent residence.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Common Law and Civil Law (LL.B./B.C.L) degrees from McGill University. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Barreau du Quebec, the Canadian Bar Association and the Association québécoise des avocats et avocates en droit de l’immigration. Andrea can communicate in both English and French.
