Paul Levine is a partner in the Deals practice at PwC Canada. He works in the Forensic Services group at the Montréal office. Since 1987, Paul has a wide range of experience performing forensic assignments for various clients. In addition to his forensic credentials as a CA•IFA, Paul is a Chartered Business Valuator and has been a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators since 1992. He received the designations Certified Fraud Examiner in 1993 and Certified in Financial Forensics in 2015.
Paul has been involved in fraud investigations, business interruption insurance claims, breach of contract cases, business valuations and divestitures and professional negligence cases. Paul has provided various services to legal counsel, acting on behalf of the plaintiffs or the defendants. He has conducted complex investigations, evaluated the integrity and amount of damages, participated in the preparation of and attended examinations for discovery and has prepared expert testimony in Quebec, Ontario and federal courts relating to investigation, quantification of damages and valuation expert reports. He has also prepared document briefs to be filed in court and critiques of opposing experts reports.
In 2009, Paul was awarded the designation of Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCPA, FCA) of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec (now Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec) in recognition of distinguished services rendered to the profession as well as for his social implication in the community.
Formerly a partner with Quotient Forensic Accountants, Paul joined PwC in 2017 following the alliance of both firms.
