Naomi Thomas is a Salaried Partner in the Sustainability team at PwC Canada, based in Vancouver. She leads a team of Directors, managers and associates, providing strategic oversight and technical guidance across a range of assurance, advisory and reporting engagements. Her expertise spans sustainable supply chain assurance and advisory, risk assurance for sustainability and climate change subject matters, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality outcomes for complex client needs.
Prior to her current role, Naomi built extensive experience working with diverse clients across industries, specializing in continuous improvement initiatives, complex assurance engagements, materiality assessments, and readiness reporting. Her work has consistently focused on helping clients navigate regulatory landscapes and enhance operational transparency, particularly in areas involving environmental and social issues.
Naomi holds a master's degree in mathematical Modelling and Computer Science and is a chartered accountant. She is actively involved in mining industry initiatives and regularly contributes to internal leadership development and mentoring programs. Her commitment to excellence and community engagement reflects her broader dedication to advancing the profession and supporting the next generation of leaders.
Naomi is most at home in the outdoors, whether it’s skiing deep into the backcountry, mountain biking along rugged trails, catching waves while surfing, or simply hiking to some of British Columbia’s most breathtaking spots.
