John Donnelly
GTA Assurance Leader, Partner, PwC Canada
John is a partner in the Assurance Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Toronto office. He specializes in the mining industry, where he advises public and private companies. During his career, he has served numerous multinational companies operating in complex industries. John has significant experience with initial and secondary public offerings, cross-border debt offerings, IFRS, US GAAP and US SEC reporting. John provides guidance to multinational companies on acquisitions and divestitures of individual business units, as well as assisting clients with comment letters from both the Canadian regulatory bodies and the SEC.
John is a member of PwC Canada's Assurance Leadership Group serving as Assurance Operations Leader and is the firm’s Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Assurance Leader. During his career John has had numerous leadership responsibilities, including leading the firm's audit transformation in the GTA Assurance Practice, Human Capital Oversight for the GTA Assurance Practice, leading the implementation of the firm's audit software in the GTA and was previously the leader of the Canadian firm's integrated audit practice as well as the Canadian firm's past US GAAP leader.
