Jason Boyer is a Partner in the Deals practice of PwC Canada working in the Vancouver office. He has 12 years of specialist experience in business valuation and litigation support.

Jason has provided extensive financial, valuation, and other strategic advisory-related services to enterprises in a wide variety of industries and countries in North America and Asia-Pacific. This includes business and intangible asset valuations, business/due diligence reviews, validation of key strategic or investment decisions, fairness opinions, shareholder value analysis, and the preparation and assessment of business plans/cases.

  • Expert reports in relation to mergers and acquisitions of publicly listed companies in accordance with regulatory guidance.
  • Formal valuation and fairness opinions for going private transactions.
  • Independent valuation reports in respect of intangible assets and intellectual property.
  • Independent valuation reports in relation to timberland and infrastructure assets held by international investment managers.
  • Loss quantification and dispute analysis.

During the period 2009 to 2012, Jason worked in the PwC Valuations practice in Sydney, Australia. Jason has a Bachelor degree in finance and economics from Western University and a graduate diploma of accounting from the University of British Columbia. He is also a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator. In 2008, Jason was based in Berlin, Germany for four months while he attended Genesis Park, PwC's in-residence global leadership development programme. Prior to joining the PwC Valuations practice in 2003, Jason worked in South Korea for two years.
