Eóin has over 35 years in industry constructing, operating and protecting critical infrastructure assets across the globe, including within the energy & utilities, transportation, logistics, and mining sectors. Eóin leads PwC Canada’s Operating Technology (OT) cybersecurity practice and is passionate about Safety & Security.
Eóin is a former executive for a Canadian electricity company, a UK Electricity Distribution company and a UK Water/Wastewater company. He has previously led multi-billion dollar capital programs constructing hydropower and electricity transmission capital projects.
In recent years, Eóin has worked across the electricity sector championing security projects with Canadian and US government agencies and was a member of NERC’s Electricity Information Sharing Analysis Center (E-ISAC) member executive committee.
Eóin is Vice-Chair and a Board Member of the Safety Codes Council of Alberta, and is a former President & CEO of United Utilities Electricity PLC and board member of the UK’s Energy Networks Association. He is committed to progressing industry-wide safety and security improvements. Eóin is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering & Technology, and a graduate of the Wharton School of Business AMP program. He has ICD.D director designation in Canada and is a Chartered Director in the UK.
Outside of work, he enjoys learning languages, soccer, travelling and spending time with his wife and children.
