Charles Chamberland is a partner in the Deals practice of PwC Canada working in the Montreal office.

As a partner in the due diligence practice, Charles advises clients on all aspects of the transaction process, from the initial analysis of financial and operational performance to the closing of the transaction process from the perspective of both the buyer and seller.

He has over 16 years of experience in due diligence in addition to a background in audit. American and Asian corporate buyers and private equity firms doing deals in Europe and vice versa. He has extensive workable knowledge in the identification and quantification in the differences of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), business approaches and the transaction process between various continents. In addition to working on national and cross-border transactions, Charles has industry experience in mining and metals, industrial and manufacturing products, engineering and construction, transportation and telecommunication.

Charles graduated with a BCom (Honours) from HEC Montréal. He’s been a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accounts (CICA) since 1996.
