Allan Buitendag
National Financial Services & Private Equity Leader, PwC Canada
Allan Buitendag is the National Financial Services & Private Equity Leader and a member of the firm's Extended Leadership team. He is also a Global Client Partner serving one of PwC’s Global 200 Insurance clients.
Allan first joined PwC Canada in 1999 and returned in 2006 to focus on building the Insurance and Financial Services consulting practice. Over the past 20+ years, Allan has assisted clients in large-scale transformations, cost reduction, program management and governance, IT strategic planning and implementation, strategic sourcing and vendor management, process re-engineering and outsourcing. He has consulted extensively with clients in the Financial Services sectors within Canada, the US, Europe and Asia.
Allan graduated with a BA (Honours) from the University of Western Ontario, London and obtained his MBA from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business. Allan is an avid tennis and golf player. He lives in North Toronto with his wife, two daughters and son.
