In accordance with the Slovak Civil Code (Act No. 40/1964 Coll., as amended), PricewaterhouseCoopers Slovensko, s.r.o., PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax, k.s., PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory s.r.o., PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal, s.r.o., and PricewaterhouseCoopers CEE Firm Services s.r.o (individually “PwC”), each separately and independently, hereby undertake to pay a reward to all individuals who meet the terms and conditions set in this public promise.
1.1 This public promise is addressed to all individuals who are NOT PwC employees at the moment a job candidate is recommended, or when a reward under this public promise is paid (hereafter the “candidate for reward” or the “recommending person”).
1.2 A candidate for reward shall be entitled to a reward if all the following terms and conditions are met:
1. A candidate for reward recommends to PwC a suitable candidate for employment at PwC.
2. Before sending the job candidate’s contact details to PwC, a candidate for reward contacts the job candidate (hereafter also “job applicant” or “job seeker”) to verify their interest in the relevant job position, and if the job seeker is interested in working at PwC, the candidate for reward sends them information on how PwC processes job seeker’s personal data (Information on personal data processing / Privacy statement). Subsequently, the candidate for reward confirms to PwC that this information has been sent to the job applicant.
3. The job candidate was not known previously to PwC.
4. The job applicant and PwC conclude an employment contract.
5. The job seeker remains with PwC (i) at least three (3) months if no probationary period is agreed in the employment contract; or (ii) the entire term of the probationary period if agreed in the employment contract.
1.3 To be entitled to receive a reward, a candidate for reward must send the job candidate’s application via https://www.pwc.com/sk/en/careers/get-rewarded-for-recommending-candidate.html and obtain a confirmation from PwC (by e-mail or printed letter) that the job candidate was introduced to PwC for the first time.
2.1 The followings rewards for recommendation and subsequent employment of a job candidate shall be paid:

(hereafter also the “referral bonus”)
2.2 Interns and subcontractors are not positions for which a reward will be paid under this public promise.
2.3 The reward shall be paid to the recommending person as a lump sum within thirty (30) days of meeting the terms and conditions specified in this public promise (above all those specified in Sections 1.2 and 2.4).
2.4 Within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of an employment contract between a jobseeker and PwC, the candidate for reward must complete the form at: https://www.pwc.com/sk/en/careers/form-to-be-completed-when-claiming-a-reward-referral-bonus.html. The completed form is the basis and precondition for the referral bonus to be paid by PwC. An active approach of the recommending person is required, as the candidate for reward is solely responsible for submitting all the requested information and documents that establish the right to remuneration. If the form is not completed duly and on time, or the required information specified in this public promise is not provided, there shall be no entitlement to receive a reward.
2.5 The candidate for reward shall be responsible for meeting all tax obligations resulting from the receipt of a reward under this public promise.
2.6 The recommendation of a job seeker under this public promise must have the nature of a random and one-off activity.
3.1 This public promise shall be valid and effective as of 1.2.2022 and shall apply to job seekers recommended under the terms and conditions of this public promise after this date.
3.2 PwC may modify, supplement, or revoke this public promise without explanation or prior notice at any time. The respective information shall be disclosed at https://www.pwc.com/sk/en/careers/public-promise.html
