Operating together as one firm

PwC Malaysia (MY) and PwC Vietnam (VN) integrated on 1 July 2015, coming together as MYVN. By doing so, we hope to maximise the growth potential in the Vietnam market, expand career development opportunities for our people in both countries, and leverage on each of our firm's capabilities.

The first year was a period of transition as we started operating as one firm across MYVN. We commenced our investment plan to accelerate growth in certain areas within Assurance, Deals, Financial Services and Legal in VN. We also send our people on secondment across MYVN - 14 people in 2016/2017.

Our Internal Firm Services teams across Risk and Quality (R&Q), iT, Business Development and Human Capital (HC) have also collaborated with each other on specific projects that benefited both firms. Among them are the implementation of training and development programmes in VN, and the joint roll outs of TalentLink, PwC Values, Workday and My Growth Journey.

PwC MYVN was the exclusive global Knowledge Partner at the APEC CEO Summit held in Da Nang, Vietnam, in November 2017. A number of our network leaders including PwC Global Chairman, Bob Moritz, were present at this annual flagship event for APEC corporate leaders.
